Director's Profile
Mr. Vijay Kalal's journey in fashion began in 1990, working on the retail side of the garment industry. After thirty years of experience and a deep understanding of what the market truly needed, he identified a clear gap: good quality, stylish clothing for boys was hard to find. That insight became the foundation of Jappkids, which he launched in 2018.
With his expertise in premium fabrics and an eye for international trends, Mr. Kalal built Jappkids from the ground up, establishing a strong presence in retail stores across tier one and tier two cities throughout India in the B2B sector.
Today, the next generation has stepped in to grow the brand further. His son Jatin Kalal joined as Head Designer, bringing fresh creative direction to every collection, while his daughter Kushi Kalal leads the D2C division, driving Jappkids toward a stronger direct connection with families across the country.
Together, the Kalal family is committed to making Jappkids a household name in children's fashion.
